OS-8: Student Performance Chart

DESCRIPTION

Available for CTBS only, not for CCAT or GMRT.

This report produces one page per student, and includes:

  • a re-statement of the top three lines of the student's scores from the Student List Report
  • the corresponding average scores for the building and for the system
In the body of the report, a series of bar charts indicates the student's performance in relation to the average performance of eligible students in the same grade in the building and in the system.

For example: For CTBS Form K Levels 9-14, bar charts are provided for each of the 12 subtests, three test totals (LT, MT, ST) and the composite.

For CTBS and GMRT, the bar charts are plotted on the National Percentile Rank (NPR) scale.

For CCAT, the bar charts are plotted on the Age Percentile Rank (APR) scale.

Within each class, the students are listed in the same sequence as the sheets were arranged when you submitted your order for scoring (see OS-25 - Sort Each Class by Student Name).

Note about "eligible students": If either of the following are ordered:
  • OS-22 - Exclude Class(es) from Building/System Averages
  • OS-29 - Exclude Student(s) from Class, Building, System Averages
some classes and/or students may be excluded from the building and system averages.

VARIATIONS

The student's bars in OS-8 are not affected by OS-30 (Score Selection/Suppression for Students and Classes)

For CTBS and GMRT, the student's bars are always reported on the National Percentile Rank scale.  For CCAT, the student's bars are always reported on the Age Percentile Rank scale.

The building and system results in OS-8 are not affected by OS-40 (Score Selection/ Suppression for Buildings and System)

For CTBS and GMRT, the buildings' and system's data and bars are always based on the National Percentile Rank scores.  For CCAT, on the Age Percentile Rank scores.

The following Optional Services can affect the contents of the top three lines of the student's scores that are re-stated in OS-8 (see also OS-6 for details.):

  • OS-21 - Print Student ID / Other Information
  • OS-29 - Exclude Student(s) from Class, Building, System Averages
  • OS-30 - Score Selection/Suppression

RELATED SERVICES

If you wish to distribute this type of report to parents, but you do not want to see any of the building- and system-related data, refer to OS-28.

If you want this type of report without the student's data (i.e., buildings and system only), refer to OS-38.
