OS-15: Group Item Analysis With Distracters
DESCRIPTIONThis multiple-page report (4-8 pages, depending on the test and the level) is produced for each level in each building and each level in the system. The items are listed within each subtest, with the results for each of the responses to that item, indicating which response is the correct one and which responses are the "distracters". Note: Two-part subtests, e.g. "Usage" and "Expression", are reported as two separate groups of items. For each of the item's possible responses, this report displays the number of eligible students in the group (building or system) who selected that response (identified as response 1/2/3/4/5), and the percentages of students who selected each response. This report also displays the number of students who made multiple marks for the item or who omitted the item. Note about "eligible students": If OS-22 and/or OS-29 are ordered, some classes and/or students may be excluded from the group item analysis. Note about mixed grades using one level: OS-15 does not consider the student's grade, but tabulates the item analysis on the basis of the student's level only. As an example for CTBS, if some grade-6 student(s) used level 12 and some grade-7 student(s) also used level 12, then the system's OS-15 report for level 12 will reflect the combined performance of all of those grade-6 and grade-7 students who used level 12.
