OS-31: High Edit or Low Edit Report

DESCRIPTION

OS-31 is similar to the Student List Report (Basic Service), but based on "selected" students only. Class averages are not reported.

With each order of OS-31, you may select students using either:

  • a high selection, at or above your cut-off score
  • a low selection at or below your cut-off score based on the Composite National Percentile Rank (NPR) score for CTBS and for GMRT.

For CCAT, your selection may be based on the National Age Percentile Rank score for any one of the batteries that you must specify (Verbal, Quantitative, Nonverbal) or the Composite.

For example: You might specify that OS-31 is to be produced for all students with a CCAT Composite APR score at or above 75. Your selection criteria, including the cut-off score, must be included in the Special Instructions that accompany your order.

Within each class, the students are listed in the same sequence as the sheets were arranged when you submitted your order for scoring. See OS-25 (Sort Each Class by Student Name).

If you require a "high edit" and a "low edit" for your order, attach specific instructions and two separate OS-31 reports will be produced.

FOr CTBS and GMRT, if you require a selection on the basis of another score (not the Composite NPR), contact the Nelson Education Scoring Service for availability and pricing.

This service requires that you attach special instructions to your order.

VARIATIONS

OS-30 may be used to suppress scores and/or to select additional scores for the students on the Student List Report and OS-31. Some of the scores that are available with OS-30 are: Percent Attempted, Percent Correct, and the Chance-Score Indicators (for "guessing").

OS-21 (Print Student ID / Other Information) does not affect OS-31. These fields are never printed on the OS-31 reports.

OS-26 (Sort Student List Report in Ranked Sequence) does not affect OS-31.

The "Student is Excluded From Averages" message that is associated with OS-29 is never printed on the OS-31 report.
