OS-35: Combined CTBS/CCAT Report

DESCRIPTION

OS-35 provides a combined report, linking each student's CCAT scores to their CTBS scores, taking advantage of the predicted achievement scores that are available in CCAT.  This service is available for:

  • CTBS Form K, Levels 8 through 14
  • CTBS Form L, Levels 9 through 14
in combination with CCAT Form K, Levels 2 and A through H. For efficiency in processing, your answer booklets/sheets for both tests must be received at the same time, in two separate "stacks," with answer documents in the same sequence in each stack.

The OS-35 report displays the student's scores from CTBS and CCAT. In addition, Predicted Grade Equivalent (PGE) scores (based on the student's Standard Age Scores from CCAT) are reported for each subtest/test total/composite. When a student's Grade Equivalent score is significantly different from the Predicted Grade Equivalent score, the difference between the student's GE score and the Predicted GE score is also reported.

The OS-35 report has no averages for the classes, buildings, or system.

Predicted Grade Equivalent scores are not available for:

  1. any student who is in grade 9
  2. any student who is tested out-of-level (see OS-23)
  3. any student who has not taken all three CCAT batteries (Verbal, Nonverbal, Quantitative)
  4. any student whose age is unavailable or out of range for their grade
Within each class, the students are listed in the same sequence as the sheets were arranged when you submitted your order for scoring. See OS-25 (Sort Each Class by Student Name).

The per-student charge is for the number of CTBS answer sheets in your order.

SPECIAL NOTE

This service requires that your CTBS and CCAT systems have the students in the same sequence. Please contact Nelson Education Scoring Service for details before assembling and shipping your answer sheets.

VARIATIONS

OS-21 causes the Student ID Number and/or Other Information data to print on the OS-35 Report. Without OS-21, these two items will not be printed (even if they contain data for some students).

NOTES

OS-35 requires the students' birth dates to be coded on both the CTBS and CCAT answer documents.

OS-35 also requires the synchronization of your two stacks of answer documents (CTBS and CCAT) so the buildings, classes and students appear in the same sequence in both stacks.

You will require sufficient Building ID sheets and Class ID sheets for each of the tests (CTBS and CCAT).
