Roe (6th Edition, 2002)RANGE: Preprimer to Twelfth Grade SUMMARYThe Burns/Roe Informal Reading Inventory is designed for use in: in-servicing classroom teachers in reading methods and informal assessment procedures; training and everyday use by special education teachers; and teaching of college students in reading methods courses. The first two sections of the Inventory contain background information about different aspects of testing word recognition and comprehension and specific step-by-step directions on how to administer, score and interpret the inventory.
