WJ III Report Writer Software

The Report Writer for the WJ III is an expansion of the WJ III Compuscore and Profiles Program (WCPP), which is the scoring software included in every WJ III Kit. Report Writer offers everything in the WCPP and more, to help practitioners write comprehensive reports based on an individual's performance on the WJ III.

FEATURES

The Report Writer has expanded report-writing capabilities. The program:

• contains the WJ III interpretive plan and integrates contextual information from nine criterion-referenced checklists with test scores
• helps professionals create more comprehensive and understandable reports
• contains an intellectual ability/achievement discrepancy comparison procedure with the WJ III Tests of Achievement and the WJ III Tests of Cognitive Abilities, UNIT, CAS, BVAT, WISC-III®, and WAIS®-III
• can be used with the Bilingual Verbal Ability Tests (BVAT)

Interpretive Resource

The Report Writer for the WJ III is a valuable interpretive resource for practitioners. The program's interpretation is based on the insights of Dr. Richard Woodcock, the senior author of the WJ III. Using the program allows practitioners to take advantage of Dr. Woodcock's insights by incorporating his interpretation into their reports. The program produces an accurate and comprehensive report and allows more time to focus on other aspects of the assessment, such as background information, reason for referral, clinical impressions, and recommending appropriate and helpful interventions.

Checklists

The Report Writer for the WJ III contains a series of nine checklists that help examiners gather and record subject information easily and systematically. Information from all the checklists is then incorporated into the Report Writer report to provide a comprehensive psycho-educational evaluation. The checklists are available as blackline masters and are included with the Report Writer for the WJ III and in .PDF format on the CD-ROM..
