WJ III Author Dr. Nancy Mather

Nancy Mather is a co-author of the Woodcock-Johnson III. Previously, she assisted Dr. Woodcock in the development of the Woodcock-Johnson Psycho-Educational Battery-Revised (WJ-R), including co-authoring the Examiner's Manuals. She has written two books on interpretation and application of the WJ-R - the Instructional Guide to the Woodcock-Johnson Psycho-Educational Battery-Revised (Mather, 1991) and the Woodcock-Johnson Psycho-Educational Battery-Revised: Recommendations and Reports (Mather & Jaffe, 1992).

Dr. Nancy Mather

Dr. Mather is an Associate Professor in the Department of Special Education, Rehabilitation, and School Psychology at the University of Arizona. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Arizona in Learning Disabilities and completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship under the mentorship of Dr. Samuel Kirk. Dr. Mather has served as a learning disabilities teacher, a diagnostician, a university professor, and an educational consultant. She has published numerous articles and conducts workshops on assessment and instruction nationwide, as well as internationally.
